December and January

OK, so I know it has been many, many , many months since I have blogged. I feel so bad and a bit obligated since I plan to turn this into a book for our family : ) Here is a bunch of pictures from Dec and Jan.
Beth and I took the kids to a fun day at the library to see a Dr Seuss production. They picked Jake out of the audience to be Gerald McBoing Boing! It was so fun for him.

Luke LOVES dress up. Here he is as a teenage mutant ninja turtle, wrestling pro batman : )

Santa at PEP school with Jake and Luke. Luke asked for a Bat cave and Jake and iPod. Happy to say the big man pulled through for them : )

Fun times with Grandma. My Mom came and visited at Christmas time. The kids had so much fun making ornaments for all the special presents they gave people and of course loved making cookies too. They even got her to play Mouse Trap!

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun, but much smaller this year. I think my Mom and Steve must of hid from the camera, but they were there : ) Jake had a great time teaching his Nana to play the wii and I think Frankie just had a great time eating prime rib.

My Aunt Jan and Uncle Bruce came by for an after Christmas celebration. It was so much fun and everyone really got into the wii. Check out the competition between my Aunt and I!

~ Ha Ha~

Jake once again played basketball this winter. He had such a great time. Uncle Frankie is like the pied piper for all the little ones at all the sports functions. Is that candy in his pocket? No wonder : )

OK, I had to add these too. Jake got an Indiana Jones Lego set for Christmas. He and his brother and Dad worked so hard building it. They were so proud I had to take a picture. Luke also went through a phase that all he wanted to wear was this clip on tie. Sorry about the messy face : ) This must of been taken after one of my famous spaghetti dinners.

I hope you enjoyed these. Stay tuned, more to come. Feb/Mar and Apr/May were very eventful months : )

Christmas tree farm

Luke's preschool class took a field trip to a local Christmas tree farm. We had such a great time! We all heard a story about conifers and how they grow from dropped pine cones. We also took a ride on a "sleigh" that was powered by a mechanical reindeer. After the sleigh ride tour around the tree farm, the kids settled in next to the fire and had popcorn and apple juice.
Have I said lately how much I LOVE Luke's preschool and his wonderful teachers? : )
